Renault outside the box with "Wildly Civilized"

October 20th, 2011

This is a spot that gives a sacred original youthful look to Renault!
As part of the launch of the new Renault Koleos , Publicis Conseil sign a European campaign for Renault, entitled "Meerkats".
The agency has opted to stage the meerkats, these adorable little mammals living in colonies in southern Africa. The choice is both creative break with the usual campaigns of the automaker but also communication with the world of classic 4 × 4 (more focused product).
"Wildly Civilized" will be released in Europe (Germany, Belgium, Spain, Algeria, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic) in TV and the web between 2011 and 2012.

Best Superbowl Ads of 2011

February 8th, 2011

I can not resist the temptation to share with you the best ads of this 41st edition of the Superbowl.
$ 100 000 the second is the tidy sum of these brands have to pay to access the most coveted locations in the world ...

Coca Cola turns into a waterlogged just an evil dragon in a big toy backfiring.

Next to the pub which has a cost of blind, Pespi offers us cheaply the strokes of a neurotic couple.

Motorola Apple likes to counter with a simple man against the world sanitized of all identical.

Doritos, potato chips that crazy little dogs.

Chevy stone, the reincarnation of Lassie.

Finally, special mention to PETA (association for the defense of animal rights activists against animal testing, fur and meat consumption) who dares too ... so that NBC has the luxury to withhold $ 3 million to broadcast its last spot.
The association had already talked about it in 2009, proposing a commercial hot, entitled Veggie Love, which gives another view of vegetables. Vegetarians have better health, better sex therefore. This spot had already undergone primary censorship during the final of the football championship.
The video was made at the time a huge buzz on the net and had allowed PETA to gain some point of notoriety. This year the association has done it again with the spot Veggie Love Casting Session, sort of making-off of the first version (hotter, more vulgar). Allowed to be shown at the Superbowl, the spot is already a box on the net. Users can also note the different models of the spot according to their "maturity" on the PETA site.

It is ultimately the Superbowl, it's been created to outdo!

Volkswagen hits hard for Super Bowl

February 7th, 2011

super-bowl

The Super Bowl championship final football is the best opportunity of the year for brands to speak of them with a resounding echo. Yesterday took place the final of the 45th edition of this championship visibility extraordinary: more than 106 million viewers.
This time, Volkswagen has hit very hard in terms of creativity, through the agency Deutsch / LA .

The first spot (unveiled during the event) announces the arrival of the new New Beetle. What is génialissime is to use no codes usual pub car (no car, no man, no way). The main character is a small beetle with remarkable agility and that stands out without a lot of other dogs. Of course the analogy can be made quickly but the idea of exploiting the very name of the car (highly symbolic) to clear any environment, is excellent.

The second spot shows the new Passat. Although less creative side and exceptional achievement, it is still well thought out: a young boy, dressed as Darth Vader, trying desperately to "call force" on everything that surrounds it. This is cute :)

This year according to Ad Age , advertisers present during commercial breaks of the mythical Super Bowl program are Audi, Stella Artois, Chrysler, Best Buy, Doritos, Coke, Mercedes-Benz, Mars, Pizza Hut .... not to mention the return of Pepsi, absent in 2010, who had preferred to spend $ 20 million for his campaign social media " Pepsi Refresh Project ".
Just so you know, in 2010, the cost of distributing a 30-second TV spot ranged between 2.5 and 3 million. Any takers ...

The mobile phone has invaded our lives

November 19th, 2010

Ah, I remember the days when mobiles were only for function call, it was a significant revolution and quickly became very convenient, even indispensable.
But then, like anything techno, he was led to rapidly evolve and since we moved the phone which only allows to make calls, the phone that sends text messages, which allows us to play, which takes pictures of , which enable to surf, to shoot video, stay connected all day long, checking emails, geotag restaurants, gas stations ...

The phone we now call smartphones (few mobile phones that are no longer smart these days) took a prominent place in our lives and sometimes I find it disturbing as people do are more aware of the time they spend with this product rather than live the moment with their only or enjoy what they are doing.

Thus, his mail checker from the breakfast, play with his smartphone on the way to work, to update his Facebook status while walking his dog, send an SMS in a romantic dinner (well, so to speak), remained attached to his phone when we are out with friends ... so many little things that we "désocialisent" little by little and we "revirtualisent" ... This is where it gets disturbing.
Microsoft has correctly identified our new little annoying habits to be fired and the concept of his latest ad.
I love the sweet side but I fail to see how his smartphone will change what now seems ingrained in us. A shot in the water in my opinion for this manufacturer but I liked the idea of ridiculing the phenomenon.
